This short story I published back in October 2021, thirteen months before ChatGPT was born, is more relevant today than ever.Right now you have no legal claim to it, no say in who uses it, and no share of what it earns or can earn in the future. Companies negotiated that protection for themselves in their cloud contracts. You got terms and conditions. All the while you continue to train the AI and pay the companies for the privilege.

This short story argues that your digital footprint should be YOUR property, owned by you under the Constitution, and lays out what happens once it is. You pool it, a trust licenses it, and the money comes back to you for your contributions and your ownership.
