Bahar Ansari: Attorney & Strategist for Visionaries | Entrepreneur | Storyteller
Less than 16% of law firm partners in the U.S. are women, and an even smaller fraction are minorities. Bahar is one of them. Recognized as one of the Top 6 Women in Law Changing the Legal Industry, she has been featured in FORBES and LAW.com for her innovative approach to law, business, and strategy.
Born in Iran, Bahar holds a Doctorate in Law from Whittier Law School and earned LL.Ms in Tax Law and International & Comparative Law from UCLA Law. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Journalism with a minor in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton, and is a licensed attorney in California.
For over a decade, Bahar has been a trusted advisor to visionaries—helping founders, creatives, and global talent navigate the complexities of U.S. law, immigration, business, and innovation. She has worked with award-winning artists, pioneering entrepreneurs, and leaders in technology, science, and education, ensuring they have the legal and strategic foundation to thrive.
She began her career as a litigation attorney but quickly realized the need for forward-thinking legal solutions for entrepreneurs and creatives. In 2016, she co-founded a legal technology company focused on automation tools for lawyers. In 2018, she launched 2nd.law, a boutique law firm specializing in extraordinary talent immigration, creative law and business strategy for visionaries shaping the future.
Bahar’s expertise lies in advising and launching foreign startups in the U.S., working with companies from seed stage to $500M+ valuations, backed by investors like Goldman Sachs. She has also counseled Fortune 500 executives and government officials, providing out-of-the-box strategies to navigate high-stakes challenges.
As a sought-after speaker, Bahar inspires global audiences on visionary leadership, creative problem-solving, and the intersection of law, business, and innovation. She believes that success is not just about building a career—it’s about creating a balanced, fulfilling life.
At her core, Bahar is on a mission: to empower founders, creators, and change-makers to turn bold ideas into reality.
